The challenge

The retailer wants to provide an engaging platform that teaches HQ and In Store staff all the knowledge and skills they need in a short space of time to safeguard the brand experience and service worldwide.

The Online Academy must enable them to quickly adapt and make full use of their talent, also in their further career. Because a retailer's success largely depends on the competency, loyalty and self-confidence of its employees. An additional challenge is that everyone on the shop floor must be aware of compliance, with special focus on GDPR and Fair Competition.

DARE Challenges

The online platform DARE is fun, easy to navigate, always up to date and complete in the challenging style of G-Star RAW. The user is continuously encouraged to develop new skills and to put these directly into practice. Employees consequently dare to leave their familiar bubble and discover new sides of themselves. By accepting this challenge, they develop their talent and flexibility, whereby the company also grows and becomes stronger.

 

Bits & Bites

No overload of info, no sense of getting lost in a dusty library. The learning content of DARE is divided into bits & bites, each lasting a maximum of 10 minutes. Stories, Challenges and 20 Second Solutions are presented in a Netflix-style menu, including time length. And the database offers an answer to any pressing question in at most 3 clicks. The platform triggers the attention, holds your focus and challenges you to return frequently.

Personal

Learning is personal. In DARE, every user is therefore actively in the lead in their own learning process. To-do lists create an overview when navigating through the learning modules. The content communicates practical knowledge and gives the employee a sense of self-confidence and pride by letting them feel their value for this company and for any future employers.

Fast & Flexible

In the event of sudden changes in the company and in society, speed and flexibility are vitally important. New information must be quickly shared with HQ and In Store employees so that they can use it immediately. TinQwise has trained G-Star RAW to add content to DARE itself so that updates can be performed fast and independently. This means that the employees are always up to date and can adapt fast.

A valuable employee not only knows all about the brand experience, the range and customer-oriented sales techniques. Compliance is also vitally important for the company. DARE is a combination of Retail Academy and Integrity Service. Suitable programmes are offered for both HQ and In Store employees. In the future, an onboarding programme will be added, so that DARE can be used in all phases of the Employee Life Cycle (recruiting, onboarding, development and offboarding).
